We a British Horse Society affiliated Riding Club who organises equestrian events for Shetland. We have a Junior Section, and try to provide equestrian activities for everyone.

We have regular training on Fridays and often take Riding Instructors up from the mainland. Most of our events are open to everyone. Check out our calendar and next events pages for full details.

INDOOR SCHOOL UPDATE

We are delighted to confirm that Hjaltland Sea Farms have let us continue using the building until the end of September.

The facility is available for anyone to hire, and is fully insured for that liability with Shearwater Equine Insurance.

HNC in Equine Studies

It is now possible to take this Flexi-Learning course through the

North Highland College.

Practical assessments are completed locally at the SEC.

An open evening and enrolment session will be held in

September with Allison Fellows, College Tutor.

Full cost of this course can be covered with an
